Using engineering methods to design components, engineering details and drawings using AutoCAD Inventor.• Prepare bills of materials, engineering specifications and other detailed documentation to record design requirements.• Create casting and machining drawings using AutoCAD Inventor.• Ensure design details are cost effective, conform to customer requirements and company standards.• Consider correct materials for the applications, which include metals, plastics, rubbers and carbon.• Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Supports Sales with customer meetings as requested.• Guides Sales and Tendering in the selection of the correct hydraulic performance to satisfy the customer's requirements. Generate performance curves for the pump selection. Perform mechanical review of the selected pump in order to ensure the mechanical integrity of the pump.• Generate general arrangement and cost estimation drawings to support sales and tendering.• Reviews and advises on customer RFQ's, drawings and specifications as required. Support sales with pump related questions.• On receipt of an order, assists Project Management and Engineering in the order review process to ensure that the quotation and customer are understood.• Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

• Review contract and vendor documents to create customer drawings using Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Inventor.• Create and revise casting and machining drawings using Medusa.• Create design layouts of pump components to verify proper fit and clearances.• Communicate with the shop to ensure the manufacturability of parts and piping.• Attend order review and kick off meetings and maintain good communication with project managers and customers throughout the project to address comments and concerns.

• Ensure proper staffing to meet production and service requirements.• Create reports that are used to track inbound materials, productivity and problems that arise from warehouse capacity issues.• Hold employees accountable for production as well as motivating them to succeed.• Working with the PDC Manager and the Union to create a safer, more efficient warehouse through LEAN manufacturing processes.

• Ensure proper staffing to meet production and service requirements.• Ensure reports are accurate and submitted on time.• Communicate with senior staff of the problems faced and solutions needed to fix them.• Monitor flow rate, keeping direct reports accountable for performing the work expected and delegating work when flow either exceeds or falls below the expected work flow rate.
