Overseeing that the aquatics center operates smoothly during business hours. Ensuring all lifeguards on duty are actively doing their job to the best of their ability. Responsible for promptly dealing with: malfunctions of pumps or other equipment, rescues, first aid, guest issues or concerns, and overall safety of both staff and guests in the aquatics center. As a Swim Lesson Manager I oversaw all things as a Shift lead in addition to managing a team of swim lesson instructors and coordinating the pool facilities while lessons were in session. Dealing with parents issues and concerns, helping teachers with student related situations, and solving problems on the fly were all key components to this role. (Other roles have included: Swim Lesson Manager, Lifeguard,Swim Lesson Instructor, Birthday Party Host, Pool Attendant.)

My first role was Pizza’olo, assembling pizzas on the line, checking guests out at the register, cooking pizzasproperly and promptly, and serving them as desired. My ability to work with a constantly changing team in a fastpaced environment quickly lead to a promotion of Shift Leader. This added the following responsibilities: openingand closing the store, placing produce orders, dealing with complaints, and creative problem solving.
