I was hired into Starbucks as a supervisor and have been a supportive cog to three different locations in the Greater Sacramento region. Most recently I have worked side by side with the Store Manager to recruit, hire, and develop over 30 new partners to open a brand new drive-thru store as a part of our relocation. Additionally I have been the leader of in house talent acquisition. I have several success stories in developing from the barista role into the trainer role into the supervisor role. Those supervisors have thrived in their roles. It is now my responsibility to help them continue the journey of those below them and develop them as well. My newest responsibility is teaching and mentoring the standards of our store to all partners and supervisors while keeping our store culture up to date

I began my journey at this historic family location as a server. I grew from taking a small station in the corner of the restaurant to taking lead server on banquets and other large parties. Eventually I was promoted to bartender and was given the responsibility of being in charge of all paperwork for every server in the restaurant and running reports for the entire restaurant at the end of each day. Aside from that, I have to make sure that our regular bar patrons are taken care of with quality service and attentiveness. This is the current position that I run and I am essentially just a step below the owners level in terms of title and responsibilities.
