My role comprised multiple special projects focused on manufacturing and transactional continuous improvement and data visualization/automation. Some examples include:Supplier Lean Activities SupportDrive, support, and facilitate continuous improvement activities at our contract manufacturer (CM) in China. This involved project management, coaching, technical analysis, and creation and training for statistical tools. Much focus was also on creating Kanban calculators and conducting business case analysis to justify changes to external stakeholders.Manufacturing Monthly Metric Dashboards (Project Manager)Work with the manufacturing IT team to create live dashboards of top-level performance metrics. This reduces manual work previously needed for the preparation, distribution, and reporting of these metrics.Manufacturing Analytics (OEE+)Led project to create an automated calculation tool for Overall Equipment Effectiveness reporting leveraging data in our MES and Power BI. The system also automatically extracts key insights from the data to help the team drive targeted improvements, eliminate waste, and improve the metrics and factory productivity. Manufacturing Digital Twin Initiative (Project Leader)Led initiative to develop a digital twin of our manufacturing operations across the globe. Technical Rotation Program (R3): Lean Project Manager - Remote Assignment

__Lead a Lean project as a PM working at our CM (Primax) in China.__Lead a process improvement initiative at our CM focused on test time reduction at the end of the manufacturing line.Made ergonomic adjustments for faster starting of the machinesIdentified R&R problems that ultimately were rooted in design issues, the corrective actions are ongoing.Implemented new Standard Work__Assisted local Shenzen office as a lean / developer resource.__Work with the planning team at the CM to develop a scheduler/optimizer that looked ahead to balance load while satisfying capacity constraints (VBA). This was done in conjunction with a lean project at the CM after this procedure was identified as an opportunity for automation. Time saved was several hours per week.Developed an automation tool for the memory allocation process used in deciding from who Lexmark purchases memory(Google Apps Scripts). A Lean project was being led by a local lean resource at the time, and I provided programming assistance. The automation focused on eliminating NVA of generating and emailing reports (previously done manually) and creating a quick allocation tool that presented all the variables for the employee to quickly make allocation decisions. Saving of ~20 h of labor, and improved process flexibility reducing the total allocation process time from ~4 to 3 weeks.Assisted/led miscellaneous lean training and continuous improvement efforts at the office.
