I started at Parcelforce working on the night shift. After work I would sometimes stay on for a few extra hours to help the admin staff with their morning duties. I was told that I was an asset to the team and was asked if I would like to work administration full time. I was very glad for the opportunity and accepted. I worked in the office picking up many new skills, learning the business and improving the skills that I already had. I also gained confidence and an understanding of customer service and problem solving.An opportunity as a Parcelforce delivery driver came up and I applied and was successful. After taking up this role I then further improved and learned many skills such as time management and face to face customer service. I am currently in this position and often still help out the administration staff as often as I can.I have now achieved an acting management roll in the company and strive to improve myself and the deoit I represent.
