Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. Strong engineering professional with a Associates focused in Mechanical Design and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD from El Camino College. My mechanical experience started young with and affinity for building LEGO's, which later progressed into a passion for motorized vehicles. Joining Automotive Technology classes which enhanced my skills for mechanical diagnostics and advanced mechanical design later turned into an internship at the same school developing curriculum and custom one off machines used as learning tools for future students in the program. I began studies at EL Camino college for Mechanical design, during my years at school I joined Bossa Nova Technology and was responsible designing both Cosmetic testing systems and NDT testing Laser systems for the company. These experiences led to co-founding Bossa Nova Vision, which specializes primarily in Cosmetic Product and Efficacy testing. My work directly contributes to the development of new products now on the market. I was tasked with the design of a new range of optics based testing systems as well as revising and improving existing technologies. In addition to design I oversee Production and Inventory for the company ensuring on time part delivery as well as developing strategies to aid in manufacturing. Throughout my time with Bossa Nova Vision, I have applied my know-how to mechanical design, supplier and manufacturer management, assembly of systems, business management and quality control.
