Empower and manage hourly production team members and line leads of 16 or more while ensuring goals related to production schedules, food safety/quality, and workplace safety are met.Oversee the successful execution of department operations, while securing that all procedures, employees and resources are aligned to accomplish established goals in regards to quality, efficiency and safety.Reassure that all orders are fulfilled and operating with correct staffing numbers on a daily basis.Achieve department and plant objectives that includes supervising, training, coaching, counseling, and directing other team members in accordance with Mountaire Farms company policy. Follow established SOP's and GPP's for the department.Follow prescribed HR/Safety policies and procedures, completing Kronos and Oracle HCM time off requests on a timely basis, completing safety and certification training.Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures while proactively seeking out potential safety hazards.

Assisted team members throughout the production plant as needed during the production of plywood.Inspected materials and products for defects and ensured conformance to specifications.Loaded materials and products into machines and equipment, or onto conveyor belt.Performed production processes and quality control inspections.Recorded production and operational data, such as the number of materials processed to maintain manufacturing goals were met.Executed routine check-ups by identifying mechanical faults, reported major mechanical or electrical failure problems to the chief technician and checking wear and tear of parts.Maintained strict adherence to wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots and other PPE as required.Adhered to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures while proactively seeking out potential safety hazards.
