Production Supervisor
CurrentEmpower and manage hourly production team members and line leads of 16 or more while ensuring goals related to production schedules, food safety/quality, and workplace safety are met.Oversee the successful execution of department operations, while securing that all procedures, employees and resources are aligned to accomplish established goals in regards to quality, efficiency and safety.Reassure that all orders are fulfilled and operating with correct staffing numbers on a daily basis.Achieve department and plant objectives that includes supervising, training, coaching, counseling, and directing other team members in accordance with Mountaire Farms company policy. Sustain knowledge of food production methods and techniques. Corroborate that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently while promoting a safe work environment. Comply with Mountaire Farms customer, HAACP, FSQA, and USDA standards and regulations. Follow established SOP's and GPP's for the department.Follow prescribed HR/Safety policies and procedures, completing Kronos and Oracle HCM time off requests on a timely basis, completing safety and certification training.Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures while proactively seeking out potential safety hazards.
