I am currently working as a pharmacy technician at a clinical research organization that does early phase research for many of the leading pharmaceutical companies. In this position I package and process shipments of investigational drugs, follow good documentation practices according to company SOPs, quality control records for audits, conduct monitoring visits with sponsors, coordinate tasks with colleagues and compound investigational drugs in a sterile environment with aseptic technique. This position requires me to be very organized, detail oriented and prudent with my time.

The lab focused its research on pancreatic cancer and the vascular system, which helped me expand upon my lab techniques such as cellular culture, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence.
