Engaged in limited client representation as a student attorney in the University of Baltimore School of Law’s Bronfein Family Law Clinic. Conducted meaningful client interviews and engaged in correspondence to keep client informed of their case status. Drafted and successfully filed legal documents in connection with a change of name, including a paper pleading Petition for Change of Name, Notice of Entry of Appearance and Withdrawal of Appearance, fee waiver form, Notice for Publication form, and a proposed order. Utilized CLIO case management software to organize and manage client documents, record hours, and obtain and exchange internal documents and memoranda. Worked efficiently in a collaborative setting alongside supervising attorneys and other student attorneys to exchange edits and engage in client representation.

Performed legal administrative work for a small, private family/estates and trusts law firm. Helped attorneys to draft and amend legal documents – such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives – using applicable software programs and client information. Assisted in preliminary drafting of discovery documents, including Requests for Production and Interrogatories. Performed legal research, including case briefs and legal concept analysis. Interacted closely with both new and existing clients by facilitating professional, friendly correspondence over the phone and in person and by organizing client files and information.
