I have so much to learn from each of my clients, and I embrace the challenges each day brings, whether tackling technical challenges or doing research and writing to help my clients succeed.Since being named Director at Clarus Partners, I have really enjoyed developing my new team members and helping to manage all our projects. The mentorship aspect of this role is very rewarding, and I love to be able to share my knowledge with them to help them approach challenges and grow.One of my favorite past roles was managing the Ohio Commercial Activity Tax for Cardinal Health, where I partnered with a lobbying team and met with Legislators. I was the expert on the topic, not a lobbyist, so I became the “smartest person in the room” and learned about the political side of taxation.
