My responsibilities within this role include providing operational support to Black Creek Pioneer Village's many departments, including education, curation, and visitor services.I supervise and assist third party vendors when using the site, such as film shoots, attractions, building maintenance, and more. Likewise, I routinely coordinate with staff from multiple departments, including security, maintenance, curation, visitor services, and education to ensure that events and programs operate safely and efficiently. Nightly, I maintain records in order to maintain the distribution of information throughout the workplace.This position also displays my interpersonal skills to build rapport with other staff members to accomplish tasks efficiently, as well as customer service abilities to interact with the public in a clear, educational, and entertaining way.
