Administers and ensures compliance with human resources policies and procedures; observes and assesses quality and productivity of work; provides feedback and discipline, as necessary; may provide technical supervision; develops knowledge, skills and abilities of staff, students, faculty and/or other clients; plans and supports employees in career development opportunities • Facilitates effective teamwork between the service and the other disciplines within the Bartlett Specialty Practice; Conducts performance appraisals for clinical and administrative staff. • Instructs and helps supervise the PGY3 resident that works in the AIDS , supervises 3 clinical mental health professionals, supervise 2 medical office coordinators, 1 substance abuse counselor, and 1 peer navigator. • Manage the process of budget generation and financial management of the program in collaboration with the designated administrator from the financial/budget department of the Department of Psychiatry.
