- Responsible for Situational Awareness Center weather alert forecasting with a focus on Santa Ana winds, atmospheric rivers, fire weather, high winds, heat waves, debris flows, flash flooding monsoon thunderstorms and mountain snows.- Developed a regional, daily seven-day ahead Threat Level Matrix for distribution to stakeholders across SCE which compares key heat, high wind and fire weather parameters to historical weather metrics to flag risk potential to the company. Developed a corresponding Threat Level Map in ArcMap.- Worked with load forecasters, modelers and data scientists to incorporate solar generation capacity into SCE's load forecasting models.
