Born and raised in Tasmania, I completed my education at The Hutchins School. Tertiary studies focused on design, architecture, business, and sports science.In 2019 and my final year at The Hutchins School I was extremely lucky to be awarded the Benjamin Chuck "Good Man Award". This award is a prestigious award which is awarded to a Year 12 student who consistently shows the qualities of strength of character, confidence, compassion, integrity, humility and determination. Since a young age I have always been drawn to sport. Having played many years of Australian Rules Football at both a junior and senior level, I have developed a robust range of skills working within a team environment. I have been lucky enough to sail, for Australia and Tasmania at an international level. Sailing, has opened a wide range of opportunities over the last decade, allowing me to currently navigate race yachts in offshore racing series. In 2021 I moved to Geelong, to embark on a five year degree at Deakin University. Architecture and its connection to construction and the management of projects and workforce's has always been a passion of mine. Deakin University offers a unique Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) degree which that combines studies in key aspects of the built environment, exploring architectural ideas and design approaches while learning how to manage construction projects, no matter their scale or scope.Whilst studying, I am fortunately working as a Project coordinator at Geelong Constructions (GEECON) and its sister company Belcoast Homes. GEECON and Belcoast Homes specialise in high-end residential and multi-unit developments. Working whilst studying full-time has allowed me to work within the built environment and Australia's rapidly expanding construction industry. Working within the industry, has exponentially expanded my knowledge surrounding construction and architectural design, assisting greatly with the completion of my studies.
