I advise on, draft and negotiate large-scale outsourcing agreements (including SaaS and Managed Services) and significant non-technology (including consulting) procurement transactions. I also am responsible for review of significant marketing collateral and providing advice on a variety of general legal matters including regulatory compliance.

I provide specialist legal advice and representation to clients engaged in domain name disputes.

I review evidence and submissions and issue written decisions under the UDRP, auDRP and related domain name dispute resolution policies. I am also a panelist for UDRP and URS Disputes with the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre, FORUM and MFSD IP Dispute Resolution Center.

I am a delegate of the Registrar of Trade Marks. In this role I hear and determine oppositions to trade mark registration and applications for the removal of trade marks for non-use, issuing fully reasoned, written and published decisions.

I worked with the Strategy and Operations team to maximise the capability of the CBA L&GS function through improved relationships and engagement with external law firms, better training and knowledge sharing and the introduction of new technology.

I advised on and assisted in large-scale procurement (both technology and general) transactions including negotiation, contract drafting, stakeholder engagement and risk advice. This included large scale outsourcing, SaaS and managed services initiatives, software licensing and development, cybersecurity services and professional services. I also advised on a variety of general legal matters including branding and marketing issues, privacy, data protection and regulatory compliance. I have been involved in streamlining and improving CBA's general procurement processes and precedents.

Adjunct Lecturer - Competition Litigation, Intellectual Property Litigation

I worked in the Nine Digital and Fairfax business units where I advised on legal issues relating to media including privacy and data sharing, GDPR compliance, competition law, terms of service and IP protection. I negotiated, drafted and advised on numerous commercial transactions including vendor IT agreements, sales agreements and content licence agreements. I assisted in the sale of the Australian Community Media business, focusing on the internal re-organisation of the business and novating key supplier contracts.

I supported Telstra's Wholesale business unit (sales and products), responsible for a number of customer accounts. My work included a mixture of commercial contract drafting and negotiation as well as providing advice on a wide range of legal areas.

I practised at the NSW Bar for 5 years where I developed a commercial and intellectual property practice. I acted and advised in disputes involving contract, equity, corporations, trade practices and insolvency law. I appeared in trials in the Federal and State courts, interlocutory applications, arbitrations and mediations.

I practised in the areas of Intellectual Property, Dispute Resolution and Banking and Finance. I acted for retail, media and technology clients in copyright, trade mark and design matters including in respect of customs seizures, trap purchases and urgent injunctions. I researched and advised clients on issues relating to copyright, trade mark and banking law. I also prepared transaction documents, prepared submissions and appeared on behalf of clients in court.
