Group Financial Controller

Reduced month end from 17 to 7 working days, and the year end timetable from 9 months to 5 months.• Delivering large platform change projects, e.g. global finance engines, straight-through processing of payments out. • Delivering Financial reporting and consolidations under IFRS, US GAAP and Polish GAAP for 20+ legal entities. • Leading the company toward exit readiness, including assessing the current position, GAP analysis, and ensuring policies, systems and processes mapped to the COSO framework.• Finance systems (NetSuite) transformation including devising a roadmap and implementing changes including P2P, RTR and O2C workflows, better reporting and save search libraries, auditable access and change management • Both indirect and direct domestic and international tax, including c£25m R&D claims, Transfer pricing and withholding taxes.Commercial experience • Negotiating and accounting for a $100m cross-border customer contract to design and build a technology platform. • Supplier pricing strategies, renegotiating contracts including developing forecast utilisation models saving £700k• Cashflow forecasting and management and reporting to P/E investors • Group FP&A work, partnering the FP&A team and wider business to ensure accurate GL, department and cost centre reporting. Implemented monthly budget vs actuals reviews and reporting. • Corporate finance (assist in debt, £40m, and equity, £220m+, raises) and M&A due diligence of US entities and Master Trusts, integrations including managing virtual data rooms, purchase price accounting, integration of systems, driving post integration synergies and covenant reporting.
