In my role, I oversee all technology purchasing and management including televisions, guest room television programming, telephones, internet, and PMS systems. I also focus on managing the company website, establishing relationships with third party websites, expanding social media presence on Facebook and Twitter, monitoring and assuring proper response of guest reviews, and creating pay-per-click advertising campaigns. I seek to develop and maintain our social media presence, training staff for effective use and presenting social media seminars. I have also been a part of corporate management team and assist in all operational areas. I have been involved in multiple hotel openings from the planning phase through construction and opening day. Since beginning the JD/MBA program, my role has expanded to include more financial and human resources projects. I hope to continue to expand my responsibilities and gain exposure to all areas of the hospitality business with the goal of making myself a better leader and hotel developer.
