I am a bridge engineer at Jacobs Engineering in Redding, California. I am a registered professional engineer (civil) in California and Nevada. I have experience designing and detailing concrete cast-in-place and precast bridges, retaining walls including cantilever, MSE, and secant-pile types, and multi-story post-tensioned concrete buildings. I graduated with my B.S. in civil engineering from CSU, Chico in 2015, and an M.S. in structural engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020. My bridge experience includes the design and detailing of all superstructure and substructure elements of single-span bridges. I have worked on structures with varying foundation types including: drilled shafts, micropiles, and secant-piles. I have worked on projects in California, Nevada, and Arizona. My building design experience includes the design of structural elements of several post-tensioned concrete parking structures, the computer lateral analysis of concrete structures, and construction administration of concrete and steel buildings, seismic retrofit of concrete structures. My M.S. research involved non-linear seismic modelling and failure analysis of a concrete structure in Mexico City. I am proficient in the following software: PGSuper, SAP2000, CTAbut, LPile, Py-Wall, RAM Structural System, Risa 3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, Hilti Profis, Simpson Anchor Designer, Microsoft Excel (with VBA coding), Microsoft Powerpoint, and Microsoft Word.
