• Provide day-to-day monitoring, operation of equipment, routine lab test, and minor maintenance activities to keep the wastewater treatment plant efficient.• Operate various types of equipment manually and through instrument panels, computer terminals, and programmable logic controllers to make minor adjustments in the required areas of the plant.• Perform field test (chemical, physical and biological) in order to pace chemical dosages for process and odor control units or alter unit processes.• Monitor and observe operating conditions of process or incinerator and make minor adjustments to the areas desired.

• Assisted the Chief Engineer and Stationary Engineer Lead at Brown University with daily operations.• Began initial construction of new preventative maintenance program for the equipment associated with the power plant for Brown University.• Created new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the equipment located at Brown Universities Central Heating Plant.• Gained experience in appropriate management techniques and operation of a facility/power plant.
