I am a Marine Corp Veteran with 15 years of experience in the fields of Logistics, Security, Field Operations, and General Construction. I am looking for a position that requires my expeditionary skill set to perform jobs in distant and difficult locations. Logistics is my oldest and most practiced Skill. My first job in High School was driving a forklift, I've been working in something related to Logistics most of the time since. I served as a 3043 Supply Administration Marine during my time in the Corp, on top of the various leadership positions I held. Almost every position I've held since included Logistics in some capacity. I guess when you're good at something you keep coming back to it. My next most highly trained skill is Security. While all Marines receive basic security training during Bootcamp; Supply Marines receive advanced training on warehouse security that includes Physical Security, Internet Security, Serialized Gear Controls, and Counter-Intel Security. Another Workplace Skill that I enjoy is Field Ops. I like being able to look back on a work-week and observe my accomplishments. In the Corp this took the form of a complete training exercise, while in my civilian life this often looks like a Construction Project that wasn't there before. Add in the fact that I enjoy the challenge of working in an unfamiliar environment and you have a worker who is perfect for travel. My final skill is General Construction. After the Military, my first job was with an Uncle's remodeling company. Since then I have worked with several small to medium construction contractors gaining experience in all manner of home improvement projects.
