As a bankcard settlement and statistic specialist I am able to help settle the various credit card, debit card, and pre-paid cards with the various banks affiliated with Central Ban Company. My job allows me to work independently for the majority of my tasks while still being part of a small team to accomplish the more complex tasks. One of the skills that I am more actively able to use now is my time management skill due to the fact that there are a lot of accounts that need to be balanced daily between the different affiliate and agent banks. This job has allowed me to gain knowledge of the backroom processing responsibilities of a bank offering any type of plastic cards for their customers.

As a teller supervisor for Landmark Bank I have the privilege to help develop and train new tellers so they can effectively achieve their goals. I have been able to work in a great team environment and actively participate in the process of building a very well rounded team. My job also allows me the opportunity to be exposed to the processing side of the bank and perform various audits and retentions to make sure the bank continues to run smoothly. One of the most important skills I have had the opportunity to further develop is my teamwork since I am able to be actively engaged in the training and development of the teller team at the branch.

While working for Bankers Life and Casualty as an independent insurance agent, I have further developed my ability to work independently as well as in a small team. This job has also reinforced the value of hard work, since it is a commission pay only job. Since starting here, I have also been able to meet a variety of people and situations and learn how to adapt to each person to better help their own unique situations. The most important skill this job has let me enhance more is customer relationship and service, since we deal with our customers one-on-one the majority of the time.

I worked at Wal-Mart as a tire technician. This job allowed me to work in a group dynamic. When the managers were not there the other technicians treat me as the manager figure allowing me to get some leadership experience as well. This has also developed customer service skills to deal with irritated customers and how to keep their continued service.

I worked as a cashier running the front counter, drive thru, and eventually a cook on the preperation line. I learned how to do every aspect of the job.
