About Nicholas Sylvia

I graduated from University of Massachusetts, Lowell with my masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have always had an interest building different things, and always been interested in alternative fuels. I have spent the entirety of my professional career working at Convergent Dental, the developer of the Solea Dental Laser. I have developed from an engineering intern, into a test engineer, until now where I am a mechanical engineer. I have been directly involved in the development of many successful projects here and have used my knowledge and critical thinking to improve of the projects I have worked on.

I craft Solidworks Drawings out of these components to be machined, injection molded, and to be developed into electrical cables. I author inspection documents of various hardware to increase the quality and reliability of the system. I release ECOs/DCOs/PREs into our PLM software, Omnify.
