To lead and drive best in class outputs from the Business Distribution Team to increase revenue in the Global Distribution Systems and Direct Connect channels and achieve budget targets. Oversee the end to end administration of the corporate RFP process, ensuring loading and merchandising of corporate rates onto all booking tools and to manage, maintain and enhance Travelodge's visibility across the business customer booking channels.Effectively implement and manage new hotel builds on the Global Distribution Systems, ensuring static and dynamic content is correct and active for go live date.

Responsible for the day to day operations and management of Travelodge Hotel’s 3rd party distribution partners; including OTAs, Metasearch and GDS companies.A key focus is to identify how Travelodge can obtain more international business through GDS along with supporting new property models. Full audit undertaken on all Travelodge properties on the GDS identifying opportunities to drive revenue and increase market share.

Managing the day to day running of the sales support team.Managing the timely delivery of rate loads to the key stakeholders - Travel Trade, Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers whilst directly contributing to improving the sales channels on the business plan.Problem solving: Issues with systems, rate parity, rate loading, policies and conditions, customer care (agencies issue).Shopping and rates: Control of the negotiated rates and public rates, rates descriptions and other HOD marketing text.Frequent reviews of Travelodge performance with the Global Distribution Systems relationship managers.Business intelligence reports-monthly dashboard. Analyzed in search of new business opportunities.Inter-departmental relationship: Sales, Revenue, IT,Marketing, Customer Services and support to hotels.

Responsible for the structure of the database and how the data is displayed to the end user and ensure continued relevance, usability and value of the company’s Star Rating data whilst effectively promoting the Defaqto brand through interactions with external parties. Main duties included:• Managing product and data analysis across Banking, General Insurance and Wealth research areas.• Designing and maintaining the structure of the financial products database.• Dealing with many areas of the business including Data Collection, IT Development, Insight and Marketing departments whilst also providing support for data related customer queries.• Managing a team of data analysts.• Managing data audits and Provider’s literature for comparison table sign-off.Main achievement within this role was to manage the annual Star Ratings update cycle from the determination of criteria to the scoring and ranking of products across all areas.
