Nick Thompson is the Founder and Executive Director of Brad’s House, a local Non-Profitthat provides housing, services and treatment for some of the most at-risk youth in Colorado.Nick grew up as part of a proud military family, spending time in Europe and Hawaii during hischildhood. Nick played college basketball at the University of Oklahoma and Utah Valley State,before turning pro and playing overseas in Germany, Luxembourg and Japan. After his playingcareer, Nick and his wife Samantha moved home to Colorado where Nick’s passion for servingothers, and his ability to connect with young adults, led him to start working with at-risk youth.After working in various group homes and learning the business, Nick believed he could domore to better serve these kids and founded Brad’s House in 2017. The business is namedafter his long-time coach, friend and mentor Brad Barton who passed away several years ago.Brad’s House is now fully owned and operated by Nick and Samantha. To date, Brad’s Househas housed over 40 young men - up to nine at a time ages 9 to 16. Brad’s House is rapidlygrowing and constantly looking for ways to grow their impact in the community, and give theseyoung men the opportunities in life they deserve to be successful.
