Promoted to Director of Technology to help ensure the new facility project was completed on-time and on-budget. Worked directly with corporate leadership teams and day to day with construction general contractor and sub-contractors. Project consisted of the planning and building phases of the physical build, as well as the planning and building phases of the technical infrastructure inside the building. All deadlines were met and project stayed within budget. • Main transmitter and aux transmitter build-out. As part of the FCC repack project, I was tasked with ensuring the sites were ready to go and worked directly with corporate engineering as well as general contractors and sub-contractors in the various phases of the project. The project consisted of cleaning out the sites of old analog transmitters, abating the sites, complete overhaul of electrical and HVAC systems, installation of technical racks and equipment, and installation of RF connection systems to our transmission tower. As part of this project, the company also picked up a new tenant in Ion media.

• Performs hardware, software, and network upgrades for television station in a modern Microsoft Server 2008 Enterprise structure.• Responsible for implementing and maintaining system security and configurations of many company servers while providing IT support, to include planning, software and hardware configuration to a staff of 150+ end-users.• Implements overall worksite security for station machines at local and remote sites.• Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan layout for type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications to existing systems.• Responsible for computer network deployment, expansion, and updates. This includes gigabit ethernet, fiber, and radio wave networking.• Responsible for deployment and support of current and new broadcast technology which includes microwave trucks, microwave helicopter, satellite trucks, and rack room audio/video. • Attended multiple national meetings and traveled to multiple “group” stations to assist in rollouts.
