Account Manager (Mar 2001 – Jun 2008)Account Manager Level 1 March 2001 –June 2003Account Manager Level 2 June 2003 – March 2005Account Manager Level 3 March 2005 – June 2008Solely responsible for managing a portfolio of increasingly diverse and complex key corporate accounts with revenues of between $5 – 10m including Orica, NEC, Village Roadshow, Willis Insurance and K & S Freighters. Responsibilities:Develop multi-level relationships within key accounts, focusing on Chief Executive Officer, Chief Information Officer, General Manager, Financial Controller, Communications Managers and Information Systems Managers to create new opportunities that resulted in significant growth in revenueProactively manage budget to consistently meet revenue and gross profit targetsUndertake Strategic Account planning and management, including accurate forecasts of revenue and gross profit to present at “C” level Undertake strategic sales planning, forecasting and budgeting to ensure optimal performance and sales targets are met.Continually review progress against set objectives and take remedial action as appropriate.Gauge customer’s satisfaction, through formal and informal meetings, as well as via customer satisfaction surveys.Generate proposals and respond to tenders to meet client drivers, focussing on on problem solving and value-added business solutionsEducate key account contacts on industry specific developments and business process improvements, so as to further improve their businessAct as primary point of contact for key corporate clients, managing and optimizing client contact; gaining, building and maintaining exceptional working relationships / partnerships and consistently gaining greater commitment from existing clients
