I have several areas of lab experience, having done a project on Potato Blight proteins in the John Innes Centre during my Biochemistry Degree at UEA, a six month project on Acute Kidney Injury during my Bioscience MRes at Newcastle University and a PhD in Microbiology from the CBCB at Newcastle University.I am interested in the marrying of creativity and science, which lends itself well to the craft beer industry, specifically the science behind producing great beer.Currently working as a Brewer and a brewery microbiologist involved in yeast propagation.
