As a platoon sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, my role was crucial to the success and readiness of my unit. I lead, mentored, and oversaw a group of Marines within my platoon, ensuring they were prepared for their missions and training exercises. I was responsible for their discipline, welfare, and training, making sure they are physically fit, proficient in their combat skills, and ready to adapt to any situation. Additionally, I serve as a liaison between the platoon's officers and enlisted Marines, facilitating communication and ensuring the mission's execution aligns with the Marine Corps values and principles.

In my role as a Marine Corps Scout Sniper Team Leader, I was responsible for leading a highly specialized and elite team of sniper and observer pairs. My duties included planning and executing reconnaissance and surveillance missions to gather critical information. I coordinated our team's movements, ensured concealment, and provided guidance on target selection and engagement. Additionally, I acted as a liason with higher-ranking officers to brief them on our findings and recommendations, contributing directly to mission success and the safety of our fellow Marines.
