I am an interior/exterior door and custom millwork specialist. I also specialize in lumber, hardwoods, and plywood/sheet goods with over 30 consecutive years in the industry. I do everything from historical renovation projects to working with contemporary designers to help them get their projects just the way they need them. Also, I am a traditional lumber and building materials salesman as well. I have successfully managed a production mill shop that specialized in all kinds of woodworking projects and custom mouldings.I am a proud father of two kids that my wife and I adopted from Russia.As a hobby, I build period furniture, specializing in the Federal, Queen Anne, and Chippendale periods, dabbling in Shaker periodically. I use this personal knowledge to aid my my customers in finding period authentic choices for their historical projects. I am proud to say that I have had pieces published in "Wood" and "Fine Woodworking" magazines along with having written articles for the Society of American Period Furniture Makers quarterly newsletters.I am a big soccer fan and season ticket holder for the Chicago Fire as well as the Chicago White Sox. As for other sports, I am a Chicago White Sox fan and New Orleans Saints fan.
