One of my earliest memories was sitting at my grandmother's table while looking at a spoon. I was captivated because my image was surprisingly upside down. This moment ultimately guided me to a career in optics, photonics, and semiconductors. Today I am a practicing optical engineer, optical metrology engineer, and process engineer. I enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, characterizing optical components and assemblies, as well as deploying multi-stage designed experiment such as a partial factorial design or response surface method. What sets me apart is that I can work across disciplines (including neuroscientists, machinists, and data scientists), time zones, and cultures. I hold degrees in Mathematics, Materials Engineering, Physics, and Mechanical Engineering. I am an adaptive engineer and scientist that is continuously learning and improving. I have vision easily seeing the global view as well as the details. I pride myself on having positive interaction with coworkers where working in a group we are more than the sum of the individual parts. I focus on the triple bottom line, where cost and profit are balanced equally with the human and global impacts.
