Human Resources Manager
CurrentDevelop, create and manage human resource plans, programs and procedures for a workforce of 100 team members, including support for a Canadian subsidiary and a sister company in Illinois• Keep current and updated on all regulations and practices to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws including attending seminars, SHRM conferences and networking with local SHRM chapter members • Implement, update HR programs/policies and monitor for efficiency/cost effectiveness and consistency, including updating the employee handbook as necessary and developing and maintaining job descriptions• Implements and annually updates the compensation program; conducts annual salary surveys and analyzes compensation• Coach management on HR related issues, including performance management, employee development, training, etc.• Manage HR staff • Participate in and organize all employee relations events and programs • Maintain ongoing relationships with all employees, counseling as necessary and making appropriate recommendations • Coordinate all foreign employee relocation processes including L1A/E1 Visas, housing, school placement, ESL training• Coordinate health, disability and retirement plans with outsider provider• Manage Recruiting/Pre-Hiring/Selection, Onboarding procedures• Manage Termination procedure, including conducting exit interviews• Manage employee recognition programs, employee surveys, wellness programs, etc.• Manage employee training and development initiatives, including staff development programs, job related trainings• Manage payroll administration, including entering time card reports and data changes to payroll/benefits deductions into HRIS system for payroll processing• Update and maintain HRIS database of employee data• Manage administration of all benefits plans and programs, including medical, dental, vision, COBRA, HSA/HRA/FSA accounts, etc.• Manage all leaves of absence
