Profile bio

About Nicholas Wallenhorst

I'm a University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Graduate passionate about incorporating public feedback in policy decisions. I believe that stronger communication between leaders and communities leads to better policies, and I look forward to building avenues that help provide transparent and cognizant governance. As a University student, I authored and co-chaired the Undergraduate Student Government Campus Safety Ad-Hoc Committee. This group centralized work relating to improving safety resources and standards across multiple committees and student groups. Throughout the year, cross-collaboration between partners led to a Student Recommendations Report that was delivered to University executives, as well as successful changes to ongoing safety projects in order to best reflect student needs.
