As a Senior Engineer, my job responsibilities included:• Preparing Civil Engineering Plans for residential and commercial projects (Decentralized Wastewater System Plans, Improvement Plans, Agriculture Erosion Control Plans, and Use Permit Drawings).• Preparing feasibility studies and design reports (Wastewater, Hydrology and Hydraulics, Stormwater Control Plans, Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, Community and Non-Community Water Systems, and Water Availability Analysis).• Preparing applications and permits for local, State, and Federal Jurisdictions (SWPPPs, NOIs, and NECs for the Construction and Industrial General Permits, USACE Section 404 Permits, DFW Lake and Streambed Alteration 1602 Applications, and SFBRWQCB 401 Water Quality Certifications)• Performing construction observation to ensure projects are built in accordance with plans. Respond to RFIs during construction as required.

• Managed the scheduling for student employees, assisted in student training, scheduled the fleet in for services and repairs, and scheduled work based on the staff available.• Collaborated with and led team members on projects from start to finish.• As an assistant mechanic I helped upkeep and maintain the bus fleet. In addition to this, I operated heavy equipment, transit vehicles, machines, and numerous power tools while focusing on the safety of myself and others.
