Primary job responsibilities are maintaining the safety, care, and well-being of residents; implementing the structured program of care and the behavior management program; and maintaining the security of the facility. Monitors and directs resident behavior to promote positive interactions and ensure residents are free from abuse, neglect, victimization, and/or violation of his/her rights and immediately intervenes in behavioral crisis situations to ensure safety. Conducts and documents security/safety checks of facility to include resident rooms. Works as part of a multi-disciplinary community dedicated to helping young people reach their goals while in a secure environment and prepare them for successful transition back to the community. Serves as role model, change agent, and mentor to residents, directly impacting the residents’ quality of institutional life and rehabilitation.Lead therapeutic groups of appropriate program topics, in accordance with best practices in working in a youth residential setting. Demonstrated coaching skills and provide observations of residents’ behavior and progress toward treatment goals by actively participating in treatment meetings, documenting progress or needs, and preparing observational and other reports. Ensures that effective rehabilitation strategies are employed in addressing resident’s individual needs in the following areas: recreation, education, work assignments, meals, personal hygiene, and general maintenance of the living environment.

Ensures the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars advanced on behalf of investors as well as insurance proceeds from Mortgage Insurance companies. Negotiates with and manage external vendors in order to rehabilitate properties and cure title defects under very compressed timeframes (30 days) in order to transfer assets to certain investors or severe penalties will be assessed. Knowledgeable of the entire Default lifecycle (Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, REO, Mortgage Insurance, Hazard Insurance, and Claims) and be able to reconstruct the history of a loan throughout that spectrum, then cross reference the timing and impact of each event against a complex and diverse set of investor and insurance company requirements in order to accurately prepare the Investor billing package under strict timeframes (as few as 30 days) in order to maximize the amount of dollars recovered and minimize the amounts of penalties assessed.Analyze the history of our advances and exposure on the loan, cross reference it against the investor or insurer guidelines, and prepare an accurate and complete billing package of all recoverable expenses within the timeframes permitted. Responsible for the protection of the mortgage servicing portfolio by adhering to government regulations and investor requirements for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, SunTrust Portfolio, FHA, and VA loans. Also included are Private Investor loans. This includes customer responsiveness, handling all required call volumes and maintaining delinquency rates within industry standards. Additionally, responsible for the timely foreclosure of accounts to comply with Investor requirements to include claim filing. Mitigating losses by determining the best options in foreclosure avoidance. The position supports the default department with resolution for complex servicing matters. Have a general working knowledge of all phases of default as well as general servicing matters. Liaison between various default departments and internal/external auditors to assure data requirements are accurate, timely and complete. In this role I supervise the work volumes of the foreclusre processors ensuring all federal and investor specific guidelines are adhered to. Other duties include preparation and review of management reports, training entry- level employees, and assisting manager with support and coordination of workflow. I assist in setting foreclosure sale dates, ordering BPO’s (Broker’s Pricing Opinion) for property value estimates, and made sure every step in the foreclosure process is executed in a timely manner per the investor’s guidelines. Other duties include preparing foreclosure bidding instructions to send to attorneys and maintain constant awareness of each loan’s status throughout the foreclosure process. I maintain constant communication with attorney offices and Third-Party personnel via telephone and email. I also authorize payment of needed fees for the attorneys, mediation, and fees for the maintenance of the property. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook. I was responsible for documenting all events happening with the systems via the Ground Mobile Forces (GMF) Eight-Hour Report where an events log was sent to higher for continuous updates. I have proficiently used Digital Communications Satellite Subsystems (DCSS) to include the Promina (IDNX) Multiplexing System, the MIDAS Modulation System, and the SMU Switch Multiplexing Unit. Other equipment used include the Enhanced Tactical Signal Processor (ETSSP), the Replacement High Voltage Power Supply (RHVPS), the Replacement FM Orderwire (RFMOW), the Dual Capability Servo Control Unit (DCSCU) , multiple Communications Security (COMSEC) devices, and an assortment of modems, up-converters, down-converters, transmitters, and transponders. I also was thoroughly trained to use the X Band, C Band, Ka Band, and Ku Band satellite translation frequency systems. I also have experience in using the Tactical Satellite Terminals including the AN/TSC-85, AN/TSC-93, and the AN/TSC-156 (Phoenix). I received an Honorable Discharge on April 3, 2010 due to medical reasons.
