As the function and events manager, I was the "face" of Deloitte Corporate Hospitality Sydney.I was responsible for managing all aspects of the client-facing hospitality facilities, and delivering successful corporate hospitality and catering events.It was imperative to focus on efficient use of the multiple spaces and facilities, including the kitchen and the audio/visual equipment, to meet the demands of Partners and executives. We used Citrix booking system, while delivering events for up to 240+ people.The role involved communication with Partners, suppliers and staff, while injecting a creative approach to event design, and always improving the standards for all aspects of the venues. I was responsible for recruiting and staffing, as well as training to ensure the highest standards of customer service.Compliance with WHS, RSA, food safety standards and dietary issues was mandatory.
