At the age of 21, after years of studying to start a Degree in Psychology, I had a change of heart and did a complete 180 to pursue a dream that had been set aside: Game Development. Being an avid gamer, the opportunity to start learning how to program and design games was too good to pass up. Enrolling at MCAST gave me the chance to explore my technological curiosities, and learn not just game development, but the myriad of competences one must have in order to create a fully fleshed game. Along the way I picked up new interests, such as mobile app development and front-end development to name a few. These expanded my career goals and opened new venues I could pursue. Having experienced an apprenticeship, I met likeminded individuals who share many of my interests and hobbies, which include reading and writing, travelling, and of course, gaming.
