I have spent the majority of my career so far as a network defense analyst, but started out as a network technician. I have been interested in both fields of cybersecurity and network engineering since early on in high school, and I joined the Air Force to gain valuable experience and knowledge in these fields. My main role as a network defense analyst involves defending the Industrial Control Systems IT and OT networks. I also have experience working base communications as a network technician, where I was awarded for my work in overhauling the POTS network and upgrading to VoIP phones, assisting with the tracking of every fiber connection on the base, and upgrading network switches across the base.
