I am a passionate, curious and strategically minded transportation professional.  I have been working for 10 years experience as a civil engineer for the Department of Transport and Main Roads focussed on contributing to safe, accessible and efficient transport network. Most recently, I have spent the last 5 years working on the Cooperative and Automated Vehicle Initiative working in a variety of technical lead roles, including; acting Director, Principal Engineer, Deployment Lead, and Technical O&M Manager.I started my career with Roadtek as project engineer on roads in Far North Queensland near Lakeland, then preconstruction and contracts in Cairns, before moving to Brisbane to work in traffic and network operations. This gave me a solid grounding and holistic understanding of the traffic, transport and infrastructure engineering fields from the construction, technology, industry collaboration and technical aspects. I enjoy personal development having completed my MBA (QUT), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).I enjoy presenting and sharing the experience I have gained with other colleagues in the industry. Continually collaborating, learning and laughing, keep me showing up each day and giving my best.
