Born and raised in Utah. I moved to Montana to attend Montana State University and began working as a caregiver, which eventually developed into being a C.N.A. (Certified Nurses Assistant). I am an Eagle Scout, looking to learn as many new things as possible. I decided to pursue UX Design after working as a Web Developer and realizing I wanted to design useful and usable websites and apps. DevMountain User Experience Design Bootcamp has been great at expanding my knowledge in a very quick, and efficient environment encouraging me to go learn more skills and techniques in Design.As a Designer, I have worked on projects implementing User Experience Design techniques to design functional and useful websites and apps.https://medium.com/nicholas-major

Using Safe Eats SLC app, users can have access to restaurants health inspections in order to make an informed decision on whether or not to eat there.For Safe Eats SLC my team and I began by approaching the Salt Lake County Health Department for research and data to use for the restaurants in the county. After conducting interviews in the Salt Lake area we created a persona, user story map, and user flow. From there we created wireframes and hi-fidelity mockups for our developers.

Once we had this data, we did hand-drawn wireframes to create consistent designs, used Sketch to create Hi-fidelity mockups and InVision to test our designs.
