Weston Milling is the flour milling division of George Weston Foods. The Brisbane site has 45 staff and produces 1,800 tonnes/week of flour on a 5 day – 3 shift operation. ACHIEVEMENTS:As the lead agent for the inventory control process, consistently achieved 97 – 98% DIFOT. This resulted in improved customer satisfaction & loyalty as well as yielded higher volumes of sales revenue and new business.Provided site leadership for the installation and full roll out of a new payroll and time capture system resulting in accurate and timely payroll processing from the initial go live. Improved relationships across the supply chain involving sales department, production/packing, the remote planning team in Sydney and third party transport providers. RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the processes of stock replenishment, out of stock items, shortages, promotions and expired stockLiaise with 45 transport providers to provide distribution services throughout regional Queensland and Northern NSW, including 2 regional 3PL warehousesManage the quality assurance and continuous improvement activities in the warehouse and conduct monthly safety walks/audits and manage the daily hazard reporting systemLiaise with Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service on product inspections and relevant administration for export to AsiaUndertake employee leadership, development, performance appraisal and salary reviews

Division of Paraquad Victoria, specialising in the supply of medical supplies and continence aids to nursing homes, home nursing organisations and direct to the public. There are over 3000 SKU’s on site in the 1,000 square metre warehouse with a further 7000 sku’s available on a purchase to order scenario. The Brisbane site had 8 staff and serviced over 800 clients per week.ACHIEVEMENT:Improved layout of warehouse to improve picking accuracy and efficiencies, through additional racking/shelving, labelling and location of SKU’s.
