An enthusiastic and motivated professional currently in the Management Trainee Program at Enterprise Holdings. Prior to studying at Quinnipiac, I served in the United States Marine Corps as a Security Force Marine and Infantry Team Leader. It was in the military that I learned the many valuable skills that I was looking for; leadership, accountability, professionalism, responsibility, and pride to name a few. I have deployed around the world 3 times in my time in the Marine Corps, twice to the Pacific and once to the Middle East, working with many partner-force nations to strengthen relationships, and working with Marine Security Guards and Regional Security Officers at Embassies and Consulates to prepare and provide strategic security plans and necessary training in the case of outsider threats. Over the course of my 5 year enlistment some of my accomplishments are:-Earning the rank of Sergeant-Earning the rank of Black Belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts program, and certified as a Martial Arts Instructor-Certified in non-lethal weapons tactics/Escalation of Force-Certified as an Expert Pistol and Rifle Marksman-Community Service at home and abroad-Certified in Counter-Surveillance through the Naval Criminal Investigation Service-Protecting National Critical Infrastructure I currently work at Amazon Logistics as a Fleet Manager for a Delivery Service Provider, contracted through Amazon to deliver packages to customers.I am also an instructor with the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps, a Junior ROTC program for young adults ages 9-18 who are interested in joining the military. This program helped me out significantly prior to joining the Marine Corps, so I chose to give back and volunteer my time to help the next generation of service members. The program focuses on basic military terminology, bearing, close order drill, and physical fitness. The program also has a strong presence in the community, doing lots of volunteer work with local programs/events such as "Toys-4-Tots" with the Marine Corps Reserve every Christmas holiday season.
