Nicholas Ditto is a transformational school leader who is dedicated to ensuring all students’ success. For over 10 years, he has served as a teacher, an instructional coach, and most recently, the founding principal of IDEA Rise College Prep. IDEA Rise College Prep is a middle school and high school located in the Las Vegas Trails neighborhood of Fort Worth. Under his leadership, the school received an “A” rating from TEA and was recognized as a “Best Middle School” from US News & World Report. During the 21-22 and 22-23 school year, IDEA Rise College Prep was the highest achieving middle school in the City of Fort Worth.Nicholas is currently the founder of Fort Worth STEAM Academy, a public charter middle school proposed to open in August of 2026. The school will be tuition free and open to all kids. Its mission is to prepare all its students for success in high school, college, and career through a STEAM focused education, a joyful culture of high expectations, and robust community partnerships.
