o Championing all INEOS safety and environmental initiatives onsite, especially within the Operations team. This includes promoting all INEOS internal initiates as well as other jurisdictional and regulatory safety requirements such as OSHA PSM, RCRA, PA DEP Title 5, etc. o Coordinate, manage, and monitor all production activities associated with the Polyester Resin production process, including (but not limited to) raw material supply, production scheduling, and finished product shipping/logistics.o Work with plant engineering and maintenance supervision to review and prioritize open work orders and identify areas for improvement in overall plant reliability.o Aid in the development of both capital and expense budgets for the site and hold responsibility for maintaining both fixed and variable costs within budget.o Supervise and direct activities of Plant Scheduler, Manufacturing Supervisors, Process Engineers, as well as all other hourly operations personnel onsite. This includes establishing work schedules, monitoring and evaluating performance/discipline, training, interviewing and onboarding new hires, etc. o Maintaining labor relations with all Union personnel including working with Union officials to improve employee satisfaction, deal with disciplinary issues, and negotiate contracts.o Work with site Quality Manager to ensure all operational practices are in alignment with ISO standards, and that all customer quality specifications are being met. o Ownership of all site operating procedures and work instructions, including new development as well as the annual review of existing procedures.o Responsible for developing and maintaining the site operations-specific housekeeping program.o Drive operational improvements to reduce inventory variances on both bulk and package goods.o Identify continuous improvement initiatives for safety, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
