- Ensure safe work practices are used at all times and that documentation, inspections, and current practices are in accordance with company safety policies, OSHA and other regulatory guidelines- Direct, evaluate, schedule and coordinate equipment and personnel to support daily nonferrous operations, including positioning for processing, material processing, and loading of nonferrous scrap.- Create and maintain a layout plan for all physical spaces assigned to NF processing and shipping.- Identify work in progress and finished goods storage bins and equipment locations to ensure a proper workflow is achieved.- Evaluate incoming nonferrous material ensuring that inventory quantity and product quality guidelines are adhered to.- Maintain accurate inventory reporting records and conduct physical inventory audits monthly with Financial Business Partner and observes perpetual inventory of unfinished and finished goods.- Schedule and Book all outbound shipments to final customers.- Work with Human Resources personnel to prepare job descriptions, interview prospective production employees and review performance of employees. - Monitor supervisory practices to ensure compliance with HR policies and union contracts.- Monitor and maintains hourly staff at cost effective and competitive levels.

- To manage all aspects of the business relating to shipping/receiving, lean vision and containerization- Utilize KPIs to audit/track performance for plant production/shipping- Control levels of purchased goods, work in process and finished goods using Kanban methods- Gather, analyze and summarize data to prepare and develop visual charts, graphs and presentations for monthly reports- Provide regular status updates on all orders that cannot be filled immediately- Work closely with suppliers to manage expedites- Provide leadership and training for all subordinates in the day to day function of their standard job procedure- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all supplies and customers- Analyze upcoming demand and develop level loaded production schedules for multiple assemblies and test work cells- Work closely with 3PL (3rd Party Logistics Provider) & Network teams for delivery compliance and performance

- Analyze data from OEM customers to procure raw material from suppliers- Utilized SAP and MRP tools to level raw material being procured- Utilized interpersonal skills to work with suppliers on optimizing shipments and packaging for cost savings- Work directly with Series Buyer to track MPM performance for suppliers- Communicate with Program Manager to successfully launch new programs- Communicate with Division Transportation team to effectively cut cost and optimize trailer usage- Support management in the implementation of PC&L tools and provide technical support to other functions- Accountable for personal performance tracked using KPIs
