The project was brownfield construction through an active rail corridor that is a densely populated urban area.Held multiple positions during the project, Project Controls Manager, Business Services Manager, and then into the Project Manager JV Partner Lead.As Project Manager responsible for general control of Fluor’s business affairs and general supervision of the Fluor employees assigned to the JV.As Business Manager responsible for all aspects of business-related functions, including Project Controls, Supply Chain, Finance, and other support functions on the project. As Project Controls Manager lead all activities with respect to business management, cost management, and planning for the project. Lead meetings and assign staff to Project Controls responsibilities consistent with the individual’s abilities and career development.

As site superintendent, was responsible for the overall success of projects and the day to day activities. Responsible for all local craft hires. Created schedules, coordinated, and supervised all field engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors. Supervised one or more craft disciplines on projects, and acted as a coordinator with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.

Reviewed contract documents and submittals, resolved problems, and expedited materials. Administered subcontractors and approved invoices. Involved in the development and planning of overall project schedules, purchase orders and subcontracts. Prepared material take offs for estimates and attended pre-bid meeting as the Morgan Corp. representative. Participated in the project initiation and detailed planning of the projects.
