I obtained my Masters of Science in Geophysics (Seismology) from the University of Utah under Dr. Keith Koper, Dr. Jamie Farrell and Dr. Fan-Chi Lin. Masters research focused on the detection and location of microseismic events and earthquake swarms within the Yellowstone Lake, WY region. Past experience includes detection of mass wasting events in Southern Utah as well as 3 years of experience as a seismic analyst for the University of Utah Seismograph Stations (UUSS). Programming experience includes UNIX, Python, Matlab, SAC, R and more. Serves on the board of directors for the University of Utah IT Professionals.

Construct and maintain seismic, infrasound, GPS, weather, telemetry, and data center sites within the Intermountain west for the University of Utah Seismograph Stations. Interact with State and Federal entities to secure land permits, construct sites and plan maintenance on urban and remote stations using OHV, boats, helicopters, and more. Additional tasks include network traffic, state of health, and other data quality monitoring processes and presenting scientific results to groups of peers and to the public.
