While my work experience through high school and parts of college included landscaping, being a camp counselor, working as a lifeguard, and working shifts as a dishwasher through college, I have always had a strong personal interest in computers. My interests included computer software, computer hardware, computer networking, and light computer programming & scripting.I began attending Arkansas Tech University in 2010 for my training and degree. Near the end of my undergraduate degree, I joined Acxiom as a Solutions Developer Intern under the Release Team in 2013 which was a support team. The internship mainly involved me relieving team workload by quickly learning and taking on the responsibilities of my position. I adapted my skillset to fit my team’s needs, and accrued knowledge of the Acxiom specific products like Orbiter which allowed me to be more involved in active projects.After graduating in 2014, I joined Acxiom full-time as an Entry Solutions Developer. I swiftly became a back-up for many of my team members, which required me to grow my technical skills and product understanding in order to take over those responsibilities. I developed and built Excel reports, spreadsheets, and SQL queries ran on databases to aid in projects. Plus, I managed Orbiter library and CDI Portal runbook maintenance tickets that were assigned to me. My duties were honestly split between Solutions Developer and Delivery Analyst work.
