3rd Party IP Analog Mixed Signal Design Analysis- Analyzed 3rd party analog mixed-signal IP such as USB, PCIE, GPIO, and DDR.- Ensured manufacturability, long term reliability, ESD resilience, efficient power distribution, and cost effectiveness of IP using AMD flows and industry tools such as DRC, ERC, PERC, and LVS.- Debugged issues such as excessive Point-to-Point (P2P) resistance and Current Density (CD) by reviewing design layout and schematic. Output driver capabilities and input capacitance issues were debugged using STA timing data.-Assessed risk associated with violations to determine the optimal course of action which minimized incremental cost and schedule delays.- Enhanced workflow by programming automation software and assistive GUI tools using Python, Perl, TCL, and Shell languages.- Created reports, hosted design review meetings, and communicated concerns to various parties including the IP vendor, AMD project stakeholders, integration teams, technical experts, and the foundry.
