ℹ️Story: Growing up, I was fascinated with science - specifically simple circuits and chemistry. Almost all of my gifts for birthdays, Christmas, etc. were science or engineering kits. As I learned through high school, I also developed a great passion for math. When I was about 16, my mom suggested I might be a good fit for engineering and, well, here I am.Experiences: ⚙️My greatest experience so far is being able to do independent research with a faculty member for nonlinear machine learning of small UAV flight dynamics, where I ultimately utilized radial basis functions (a very basic neural network) to learn the flight system.⚙️My other experiences are primarily as a teacher's assistant for multiple standard engineering courses, where skills related to time-management, interpersonal relationships, leadership, critical thinking, and many more categories, have been developed.⚙️Soon, I will have the opportunity of working as a fellow for the Center for Space and Nuclear Research, so stay tuned!📈Goals/Future: As I have worked through college, I have realized my dream future is working R&D. I have a passion for both learning and experimentation, and want to expand the boundaries of STEM knowledge.📖 Hobbies: Some of my hobbies include reading, practicing problem-solving, building Legos, tinkering with projects, singing, and cooking.✅Skills: General problem-solving/optimization, Python, Excel (w/ VBA), MATLAB, SolidWorks, Arduino, LaTeX, Word, and various manufacturing processes/equipment. Strength areas are heat transfer and experimentation.

This course covers topics in the modeling of basic dynamic systems, ranging from AC electrical circuits with capacitors, inductors, diodes, etc. to mechanical mass-spring-damper systems, or a mechatronic system having a combination of both electrical and mechanical components. The modeling of these systems uses state-space systems, and the techniques used to solve these problems involve a fairly strong understanding of linear algebra and differential equations. Control systems are also introduced with full-state feedback control, as well as state estimation using Luenberger observers and Kalman filters. During this time I also briefly tutored for Materials Science, which covers topics such as atomic structures and microstructures of engineering materials of metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites, as well as some electro-chemical and manufacturing processes.
