I started my career in the Health and Social Care sector in 2009. I began as a support worker in an Autism Specialist service and have developed my skills across a plethora of services including transitioning adults, domiciliary and adults with complex mobility/health needs.As a Service Manager I have been able to support teams to deliver outcomes and reach aspirational goals with individuals. I am adept at risk assessing and following all legislation to support individuals to make informed choices. I am proud of my achievements and believe that nobody is 'disabled' themselves however it is the world around us that needs to change to enable a diverse range of needs. I aspire to Increase my range of impact and advocate for not only the individuals in our care but the staff who support them. Having spent years on the front line I understand, how hard working in the health and social care sector can be. I work with and empathetic but dedicated approach which gives me the ability to maintain and improve meaningful relationships. I have completed my NVQ 3 & 5 and would relish an opportunity for further learning.
